Full-time Position for Experienced Psychosocial Recovery Coach / Support Coordinator within the team.
At Lets Connect Support Services, we believe people thrive when they are genuinely heard, respected and supported to build meaningful lives within their communities. We are seeking an experienced professional to work across Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and Support Coordination, within a values-led, ethical framework that prioritises clarity, boundaries and quality practice.
This role is for someone who values integrity, accountability, and recovery oriented practice- and understands that blurred lines help no one.
Person first, Always
We see the person before the plan or diagnosis. People are experts in their own lives.
Respect & dignity
We work alongside people, not over them. Choice and control are supported with responsibility.
Integrity & Accountability
We follow policy, procedures, and role scope because they protect participants and workers.
Connection Over Control
We build natural supports and community connection- not dependency.
Recovery is possible
Recovery is individual and non-linear. Our role is to walk besides, not direct.
Clear Boundaries Create Safety
Ethical practice and role clarity are non-negotiable.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a dual-skilled position, however:
Lets Connect Support Services does not provide both Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and Support Coordination to the same participant. This is a deliberate ethical decision to prevent role confusion, power imbalance, and blurred boundaries, and to ensure participants receive independent, transparent support.
You may work in either role depending on participant need, but never both for the same person.
As a Psychosocial Recovery Coach, you will:
- Use recovery-oriented practice to support people with psychosocial disability
- Identify strengths, goals, and recovery pathways alongside participants.
- Build capacity, autonomy, and confidence.
- Support community participation and connection
- Encourage independence rather than reliance on services
As a Support Coordinator, you will:
- Support participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans
- Coordinate supports aligned with participants goals and preferences
- Build participant capacity for informed decision-making
- Work collaboratively with providers, clinicians, and informal supports
- Monitor plan implementation, risks and changing needs
- Maintain clear, accurate, and compliant documentation
Across both roles, you will:
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times
- work within NDIS guidelines and organisational policies
- Understand that choice and control require structure and accountability
- Practice ethically and transparently.
