The Local Community Services Association (LCSA) is the NSW peak body for Neighbourhood and Community Centres (NCCs). We represent a network of locally embedded organisations that provide essential services and build community resilience across New South Wales.
LCSA is at a pivotal point in our advocacy journey, heading into a major campaign for sustainable NCC funding ahead of the 2027 NSW State Election. Our communications have never mattered more.
This is a broad and varied communications role that sits at the intersection of advocacy, storytelling, and digital engagement. Working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for LCSA's voice across all channels - from our website and social media to media engagement, member communications, and campaign materials.
Three days a week, you will bring creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail to a communications function that is genuinely consequential: communicating to stakeholders across NSW understand that Neighbourhood and Community Centres are essential social infrastructure and worth fighting for.
You are a skilled communicator who can move between strategic thinking and hands-on content creation with ease. You care about the communities that Neighbourhood and Community Centres serve and you can translate complex policy or advocacy issues into compelling, accessible stories.
