You will be responsible for the supervision and management of a team of Youth Development Workers who provide support to students across a 24-hour roster. Key to the role is ensuring that the day-to-day support provided to students by the team of Youth Development Workers is consistent, effective and promotes a culture that supports the aspirations of young people, within the Advantaged Thinking framework. This role requires a focus on staff development, practice and process support and guidance and operationalising a 24/7 program.

Launch Housing's EFY Foyer programs operate out of residential facilities located on TAFE campuses - at Kangan TAFE (Broadmeadows) and Holmesglen TAFE (Glen Waverley). The EFYF program is an innovative model providing integrated learning and accommodation services that develop the skills and talents of young people who are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness through providing accommodation, and access to education, training, employment and other support. The residential facility includes 40 beds (studio style apartments) with communal living and support service areas supervised 24/7.
