About You:
- Commitment to the Mission and Values of L'Arche
- Passionate about supporting independence and community inclusion
- Willing to provide personal care and support daily living tasks
Key Capabilities/ Experience:
- Proven experience supporting people with disability in community-based settings
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to support daily living tasks, including general household duties (cooking, cleaning, shopping)
Essential Requirements:
- Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current State Driver's Licence
- Right to work in Australia
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Basic computer literacy, including experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
Desirable:
- Experience implementing behavioural support plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
