Play an integral role in leading this community initiative on the unceded land of the Darug people across the Blacktown Local Government Area (LGA) in NSW, to enable children to form positive food habits for life through pleasurable food education and kitchen garden programs.
The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation enables preventative, positive change in the food, health, wellbeing and sustainability habits of children and young people, families and communities right across Australia.
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Project Lead to deliver the Blacktown Kitchen Garden Project, on the unceded lands of the Darug people. Reporting to the Community Initiatives Manager, the Project Lead will work under general direction and be responsible for day-to-day project coordination, school support, community engagement, expense tracking, evaluation, and reporting.
This dynamic role involves supporting schools and working in close collaboration with local organisations and community groups to support healthy eating priorities across the Blacktown LGA.
You will join a passionate, supportive and collaborative group of people dedicated to supporting schools, early childhood services and communities to experience fun, hands-on and delicious food education for all young Australians.
