We’re seeking experienced, compassionate Disability Support Workers to deliver person-centred support for participants with complex care needs and challenging behaviours. This role promotes independence, safety, and dignity in home and community settings.
Key responsibilities
- Support participants with complex care needs
- Assist with medication administration and health supports (training provided)
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support plans and de-escalation strategies
- Support daily living: meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks
- Facilitate community access and transport
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports in line with NDIS Practice Standards
About you
- Experience supporting people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Calm, patient, and reliable, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of NDIS quality and safeguarding requirements
Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Disability or equivalent (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
