Transition to Work is a service to assist young people aged 15-24 years who are not in employment or education.
The Transition to Work service provides intensive, pre-employment support to improve the Work readiness of young people and to help them into work (including Apprenticeships or Traineeships) or education.
The service has a strong focus on helping young people to understand what is expected in the workplace and to develop the skills, attitudes and behaviours expected by Employers.

As a Transition Officer – STRIVE, you will be responsible for working with a group of up to 35 young job seekers (0.5 EFT) at any one time, assisting the development of their employability skills, to prepare them for employment or education.
This is a part time position based in Hoppers Crossing with travel to other locations as required.
