Jesuit Social Services operates a range of programs for disadvantaged young people, families and communities from various operational sites. We provide a number of practical programs to participants with multiple, complex needs, often including disability and interactions with the justice system.
The organisation is seeking registration and accreditation for NDIS by the new financial year, including a range of support activities related to our residential Specialist Forensic Disability Accommodation program (Perry House). A large number of participants we work with across a range of programs have NDIS plans, with NDIS supports being delivered by other providers. We do not currently deliver services as an NDIS provider, and we recognise that there is an opportunity to provide our participants with strong, cohesive supports by stepping into this space.
Sitting within the Business Support unit and reporting to the General Manager Business Support, this role will be responsible for managing the transition to NDIS service provision. Initially the transition will be limited to some Programs within the Housing and Complex Needs portfolio, and will progress to other programs as appropriate and viable.

This is a newly created position with the option to work full or part time (0.8 EFT). The successful applicant will have the option to be based at either Richmond (Central Office) or Sunshine offices, with travel between sites as required. During the COVID-19 pandemic they will need to work remotely until we can resume regular office routines in early 2021.
Whilst this role is not participant-facing, it is expected to develop strong knowledge of our Practice Framework and Our Way of Working. The position is initially for a two year period, with the option for it to be extended subject to operational requirements.
