Joining a passionate and purpose-driven team, you'll work within a collaborative and values-led culture where innovation, relationship building and making a genuine social impact are highly valued.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a relationship-driven fundraiser to join the Philanthropy team. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of major donors and family foundations, driving sustainable philanthropic income.

This is a highly autonomous, relationship-focused role suited to someone who enjoys building meaningful partnerships and creating tailored donor engagement plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of high-value individual and foundation donors.
  • Developing and implementing tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans to achieve fundraising targets.
  • Preparing compelling funding proposals, impact reports and donor presentations.
  • Building strong internal relationships to identify funding opportunities and align donor interests with organisational priorities.
  • Coordinating donor recognition initiatives, events, and ongoing engagement to strengthen long-term supporter relationships.

About You

You will bring at least 3 years' experience in major gifts and donor fundraising, philanthropy, business development or relationship management, ideally within the not-for-profit sector. You are a confident communicator who thrives on building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional donor experiences. Qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) are highly desired. You will have demonstrated success securing major gifts and managing high-value donor relationships, and experience preparing persuasive funding proposals, cases for support, and donor reports.

You will also have a current Working with Children Check, satisfactory Police Check and full Australian permanent working rights.
