The Role

This role specifically requires you to:

  • Use your emotive writing skills to create campaigns, newsletters, and other fundraising related collateral
  • Develop guidelines for all communication collateral based on fundraising and marketing best practices
  • Provide expertise and advise to internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with external suppliers, agencies and designers
  • Write fundraising proposals and assist others in the team as required
  • Create and deliver electronic marketing campaigns on a regular basis
  • Develop engaging and genuine content to share on relevant social media platforms
  • Create new and innovative ways to communicate with donors, philanthropic partners, and internal stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Marketing, Professional Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline
  • Exceptional writing skills (essential)
  • A genuine passionate for the health sector
  • Experience in content creation (digital and print)
  • Ability to provide advice on communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience creating marketing campaigns, EDMs and marketing collateral
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns from concept to delivery
  • Previous experience working in the Not-For-Profit sector (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Previous relevant experience working in a fundraising team (highly desirable but not essential)

In addition, you will be required to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children’s Check.
