Position overview

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Advocacy, you will advise on and facilitate engagement with parliamentarians, their advisers and government decision-makers. Additionally, you will:

• develop and deliver engagement plans,
• provide expert input on engagement, advocacy and campaigning,
• lead government relations strategies in the lead-up to state and federal elections.

Knowledge, skills and experience 

You have a proven track record in developing and implementing government relations strategies, including for issue-specific campaigns. You will also bring:

• a minimum of 3 years’ experience in government relations,
• in-depth knowledge of the political environment at NSW and Commonwealth levels,
• a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers.
