About the role

As an NDIS Youth Assistant, you will:

• Deliver engaging group and 1:1 training to build skills and confidence
• Support participants to achieve employment, independence, and social goals
• Create and tailor workshops to suit diverse learning needs
• Provide end-to-end support including training, workplace, and community activities
• Work closely with Youth and Workplace Consultants to support participant progress

About you

You’re passionate about helping young people succeed and thrive.

You will bring:

• Creativity and motivation to design engaging workshops
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working with diverse abilities and behaviours
• Resilience and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Good computer skills
• Have roster flexibility and available to work weekends
• Understanding of the NDIS (desirable)
• Experience or qualifications in Community Services, Education, Youth Work (desirable)

What you’ll need

• A genuine passion for supporting disadvantaged individuals
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet targets and KPIs
• Life experience or relevant work experience (formal qualifications not essential)
