This is the purpose of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA), which will power our new 5-year strategy which has a vision of a positive future for people, planet and the economy.
ISCA is a not-for-profit peak body operating across Australia and New Zealand. One of the many ways ISCA delivers impact is through the IS Rating Scheme, a world-leading certification standard for benchmarking sustainability performance across the life cycle of infrastructure assets. Since launching in 2012, over $160 billion in infrastructure assets and civil projects across Australia and New Zealand have registered for an IS rating.
ISCA also supports the industry with capacity building, as well as advancing policy, standards and specifications towards low carbon, resilient, inclusive infrastructure.
With one of our independent directors retiring, its opportune to welcome a new well-connected executive onto our Board from April 2020.
