Our client, a leading NFP and provider of health services, is looking for a permanent full time Registered Nurse, based in Melbourne’s East, to provide services to consumers in aged care, disability, mental health and youth. The focus will be on optimising independence for consumers, enhancing health, well being and quality of life. This role involved provision quality nursing services to consumers that includes:

• Assessment, treatment & education.
• Referral to specialist services.
• Establish goals and care plans for consumers.
• Provide information to support informed decision making.
• Specialist nursing assessments in the area of wounds, cognition, diabetes, pain or continence.

Key requirements for this role include:

• RN registered with AHPRA.
• Experience working in the disability or aged care sector.
• Specialist nursing knowledge and experience in the area of cognitive, continence, pain, diabetes or wound assessment and management.
