About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team supporting children, young people and families with complex trauma, disability, mental health, and behavioural needs.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Bella Vista or Newcastle.

What your days will look like

  • Provide specialist clinical assessment, formulation and intervention for children, young people and families with complex trauma, disability, mental health, and behavioural needs.
  • Develop, implement and review individualised therapeutic plans aligned with care planning processes.
  • Apply and promote CARE and TCI principles, including trauma‑informed, developmentally focused, and competence‑centred approaches.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and high‑quality clinical documentation, including assessments, reports, and case notes.

What you will bring

  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Clinical endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and/or families with complex needs.
  • Demonstrated skills in assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention across trauma, disability, mental health, and behavioural presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS and Medicare funding requirements in the clinical space.
  • Experience in child and family services, out‑of‑home care or disability sectors with experience applying CARE, TCI or similar therapeutic care frameworks will be advantageous.
