Due to a recent increase in client referrals, InComPro Aboriginal Association currently have multiple casual employment opportunities available for Disability Support Workers, to join our team of staff in Port Augusta.The successful candidates must be willing to provide personal care support, to clients with challenging behaviours. We are seeking passionate and empathetic people, to support our Aboriginal clients in achieving positive outcomes, to enhance their quality of living.

We are looking for people with the following skills and abilities:

• Have experience working with Aboriginal people in a care setting
• Have the ability to work over 7 day roster, including evenings, active nights and sleepover shifts
• Flexibility to work across our various accommodation sites, as required
• Are experienced in working with clients with complex needs and challenging behaviours
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have basic computer skills

Essential Requirements:

• Have completed a certificate III in Community Services - Disability (Individual Support) or equivalent
• A current, unrestricted driver licence (P2 or above)
• Manual Handling Certificate (Desired)
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• A current DCSI Clearance (Disability)
• A current police clearance
