About the role

Join the team at IMS Support Services as the Participant Intake & Engagement Manager. This full-time opportunity in Bendigo, VIC 3550 is pivotal in ensuring participants receive exceptional support through our disability services. You will be responsible for the intake and engagement of new participants, as well as providing ongoing Support Coordination to help them achieve their goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the intake process for new participants, including initial assessments, plan development and onboarding
  • Engage with participants on an ongoing basis to understand their needs and ensure they receive the support they require
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of support services to participants, working closely with our expert team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, their families and other key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our participant-centric service delivery model
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and organisational policies
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to the Support Coordination team

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in the disability services sector, with a strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Community Services
  • Proven track record in participant-centric service delivery and continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in relevant software and systems
