Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) equips world-class scientists with the cutting-edge technology and infrastructure they need to drive better prevention, earlier detection and more effective treatment across all cancer types.
Since 1984, thanks to generous supporters, ACRF has awarded 93 grants totalling more than $209 million to 44 research institutions nationwide – enabling high-impact cancer research to take place all across Australia.
With 2 in 5 Australians diagnosed with cancer by age 85 and the remaining 3 in 5 closely impacted, ACRF backs bold ideas that lead to discoveries that save and change lives.
This is your opportunity to contribute to work that truly matters. In this critical role, you will help secure the vital funding that enables Australia’s leading cancer researchers to deliver breakthroughs that improve and save lives.
As the Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating fundraising campaigns including ACRF’s national signature peer-to-peer 60k in May, Brave Shave, as well as a high-volume calendar of third-party events including runs and marathons and DIY – Hair Dare, Host, Challenge and Celebrate.
This role will be at the forefront of expanding and strengthening the fundraising base by building strong, long-term relationships with participants, donors and supporters to increase funds and boost ACRF’s visibility across Australia.
You will be passionate, energetic, and results-driven, executing campaigns from start to finish and showcasing excellent timeline and workflow management skills. This role will work cross-functionally with the internal marketing team and will have the support of agency partners.
With a community fundraising program full of growth potential, this is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills while working alongside an experienced manager who is passionate about mentoring, training and supporting their professional growth.
Please apply by uploading your resume. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, with conversations progressing with suitable candidates throughout the recruitment process. Interviews may commence prior to the closing date, so we encourage early applications.
