The Impact You Will Have in This Role

As the Community Fundraising Campaigns Executive, you will take ownership of the delivery and continuous improvement of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, including ‘SurFebruary’ and ‘Go The Distance’.

Reporting into the Community Fundraising Manager, you'll manage campaigns from planning through to execution, building automated supporter journeys, preparing campaign data, coordinating digital communications and analysing campaign performance to continually optimise results. You'll play a critical role in ensuring every participant receives a seamless and engaging fundraising experience while using data and insights to drive stronger acquisition, activation, retention and fundraising outcomes.

Working closely with stakeholders you'll coordinate campaign assets, marketing activity and fundraising platforms, while supporting community fundraisers, workplace teams and volunteers throughout their fundraising journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and achieve participation, engagement and fundraising targets.
  • Build, schedule and optimise automated supporter journeys across email and SMS using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar marketing automation platform.
  • Prepare campaign data and audience segmentation to support personalised supporter communications and seamless campaign delivery.
  • Monitor campaign performance, undertake detailed analysis of participation, engagement and fundraising results, and identify opportunities to optimise acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention.
  • Develop and deliver multi-channel campaign communications across email, SMS, social media and fundraising platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver campaign assets, platform functionality and digital marketing activity.
  • Support and coach community fundraisers, teams and participants to maximise engagement and fundraising success.
  • Coordinate peer-to-peer fundraising components of community events and campaigns, ensuring an exceptional participant experience.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and campaign reporting, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and privacy requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience delivering community fundraising campaigns, ideally within peer-to-peer, DIY fundraising, mass participation events or digital fundraising.
  • Experience managing campaign lifecycles, including planning, execution, reporting and continuous optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platform to build automated supporter journeys and campaign communications.
  • Experience working with peer-to-peer fundraising platforms such as Funraisin, Grassrootz, GoFundraise or similar, together with CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce NPSP or equivalent.
  • Experience preparing campaign data, audience segmentation and supporter lists to deliver personalised fundraising communications.
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience reviewing campaign performance, interpreting data and making recommendations to improve acquisition, activation, retention and fundraising income.
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge across email, SMS, social media and supporter engagement campaigns.
  • Excellent project management, copywriting and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience with paid digital channels, Canva or Adobe Express would be highly regarded.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to attend fundraising events, including occasional out-of-hours work.
