IARC is looking for Senior Solicitors!

Are you an experienced immigration lawyer passionate about working with migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum?

The Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC) is currently seeking expressions of interest for Senior Solicitors to join our growing legal team.

The roles will be full-time contracts until 30 June 2025. IARC is open to discussing flexible work arrangements with potential candidates.

About the Senior Solicitor role

You will work with your legal team to provide high-quality free immigration law advice and assistance to migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum in NSW. You will advise on and appear at both tribunals and courts in relation to migration matters. You will also provide support to the Principal Solicitor and ensure that your team is delivering on anticipated outcomes.

About you

• You hold or are eligible for an unrestricted practising certificate in NSW
• You have at least 3 years’ experience in Australian immigration law
• You have experience appearing at tribunals and courts
