The role: 

Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) are seeking an Information Technology expert to oversee IBA’s Architecture, Security, Risk & Compliance across the organisation’s ICT environment.

The main responsibilities of the role are to successfully:

  • Maintain IBA’s overarching technologies, solutions and architecture
  • Continuously uplift IBA’s ICT capability, driving innovation, collaboration and automation
  • Perform the role of IT Security Advisor for the organisation
  • Maintain IBA’s disaster recovery plan and provide input into IBA’s business continuity plan
  • Participate in the Demand Management process to assess operational requirements, problems and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions
  • Manage and mentor a small team of staff

You will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the IT industry with relevant technical experience
  • Have a strong knowledge of contemporary ICT practices including ITIL v4
  • Understand security risks, preventative controls and security operation processes
  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to foster positive relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Awareness of technology trends including experience in or exposure with working in a multi cloud environment
  • Have experience using recognised Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF, AUSDAF (highly desirable)
  • Understand the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and IBA’s role in working with our customers and partners to achieve positive economic and social outcomes.
