From the bigger digital marketplaces, major cloud systems, through education networks to the backyard internet service provider, IAA joins the networks and supports its member development and representation. IAA has both corporate and professional members committed to the internet.

About the role

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with an interest in the not-for-profit sector? Are you keen to assist in making the internet better? We are looking for an Executive Assistant primarily based in our North Sydney office to support our busy CEO and coordinate our events. We’re a hybrid organisation with staff in Perth and Sydney, and this role will be our key admin support in Sydney. You don’t need to be a coding whizz, but you do need to be completely comfortable with the online world and with great attention to detail in your admin tasks.

This is a part-time (0.6) role for a six-month contract.

Key responsibilities

The Executive Assistant primarily supports the Chief Executive Officer. This role also coordinates IAA’s events, ensuring that events are smoothly conducted and liaising with internal and external parties to track event tasks.

  • Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role working with senior management
  • Superior level of administration skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Strong capability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and prioritisation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, competent with online tools and systems such as Monday.com, Slack, SharePoint, Zoom webinars
  • Commitment to outstanding member service
