The Role: App Developer

We’re looking for a passionate app developer to join one of the most exciting product efforts at Humanitix. You’ll be working on a crucial application that sits at the heart of event day, the tools that help our hosts run amazing events in the moment, and the experiences that make attendees fall in love with live events all over again.

This is a primarily app-focused role using Kotlin Multiplatform, building shared logic across Android and iOS while working closely with platform-specific layers. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with our backend, web, and product teams. So comfort working across the stack is a bonus.

You’ll have real ownership here. This isn’t a maintenance role, you’ll be building new capabilities and experiences from the ground up, shaping something that thousands of event hosts and attendees will rely on.

What you'll be working on

• Building and evolving the Humanitix host app, a critical tool that empowers organisers to manage check-in, box office sales, and on-the-day event operations seamlessly
• Designing and developing totally new attendee-facing mobile experiences that make going to events more magical
• Writing shared business logic in Kotlin Multiplatform that works reliably across Android and iOS
• Collaborating with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to bring features from idea to shipped
• Contributing to technical decisions around architecture, performance, and quality

Requirements

• Be ethically aligned and genuinely inspired by our mission.

• App development experience, Kotlin Multiplatform is a bonus but not a requirement.
• Expert in documentation and testing.
• Understanding of design principles behind a scalable application.

• A keen eye for design and the desire to add the extra 1% that make good applications great!
