The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for growing and administering HSI Australia’s Wildlife Land Trust program, with additional duties including disaster response and preparedness support and grant management.

For the Program Officer role you will have a strong track record in developing positive relationships with people from all walks of life, and thrive on helping them provide for wildlife on their properties.

You will be a conservation resource for private landholders and enjoy using your communication and storytelling skills to share your knowledge of Australian wildlife and how to protect it.

If you know your way around a database, enjoy research and writing as well as connecting with people to protect the environment, this is the job for you.

Reporting to the Head of Programs this job will suit a self-motivated person driven by making a difference.
