Are you a strategic thinker determined to get results? Humane World for Animals is looking for a full-time policy advocate to join the campaign team in our Australian office. Formerly called Humane Society International, we are a highly effective global animal protection charity. In the role you will pursue policy advances with governments, corporations and other institutions to better protect animals.

In leading the priority campaigns for which you are responsible, you will liaise closely with the Australian Director of Campaigns, the other Program Manager, Policy (Animal Welfare) who leads on farm animal welfare campaigns, and the wider campaign, programs and communications teams to drive campaign activities. You will also have regular liaison with Humane World for Animals colleagues internationally coordinating with global campaigns as appropriate. A further responsibility is to ensure the Australian Director of Campaigns and the Executive Director are fully informed on animal welfare issues relevant to our organisation and to work on them as requested.
