Kanyirninpa Jukurrpa (KJ) delivers a suite of innovative environmental, cultural and social programs which assist Martu to engage with their country, share and learn cultural knowledge, and learn about the mainstream world.  KJ is the largest employer of Martu in the East Pilbara.

KJ seeks a Manager to support the future of these programs. The Logistics and Infrastructure Manager will manage the logistics and infrastructure of the organisation.  You will need to be a self-starter, creative, adaptable, empower staff, a good communicator and have strong practical management skills.

Specific functions

The Logistics and Infrastructure Manager has oversight and management of the logistics and infrastructure of KJ.  While the role is a supervisory position, it does require hands on manual labour.

The role is an important and pivotal position within KJ as it supports the whole organisation and as such has a strong focus on providing a service to the KJ team.  The position will involve limited work on-country with the Martu rangers for periods of up to 1-2 weeks during the cooler months of April - October.  Shorter trips may also occur during other times.

Other functions of the role include Field trips and support, Fleet Management, Corporate and Operational Planning, Staff supervision and general associated administration.

This role is based in Newman, WA and is a senior position that includes a generous salary, housing allowance and 8 weeks annual leave.
