The primary focus of the Head of Digital Marketing will be ownership of the digital marketing strategy and execution from the first first digital touchpoints through to continued digital relationship through CRM. This includes our omnichannel approach to SEM, SEO, hireup.com.au, social, display and video advertising, and life cycle communications (email, SMS, voice, messenger, Help Centre and other self-service options). It will also be the responsibility of this person to measure and report on the effectiveness of the digital marketing strategy proving return on investment in the digital space. You will play a pivotal role in the future growth of Hireup, leading an amazing team of digital specialists and driving growth across our digital channels.

Priorities - the work

  • Lead, coach and develop a small but growing team of digital marketing experts in CRM, product marketing, and digital marketing.
  • Set, own and deliver a holistic, end-to-end digital marketing strategy that encompasses SEM, SEO and inbound marketing, display and paid video, website, and CRM life cycle communications in partnership with the Director of Marketing
  • Monitor, track and report on ROI of digital marketing efforts, including attribution modelling, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and digital channel mix effectiveness
  • Work cross-functionally with others in Marketing, Communications, Service, Data, Finance, and Product.
  • Drive integrated approach to digital marketing and CRM throughout the company

Skills - the person

  • A strong leader that knows their craft and has experience leading a digital marketing team
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing acquisition channel, website optimisation, CRM and web analytics
  • KNowledge of marketing and CRM tech integration
  • Experience working and operating in a complex industry or sector
  • Creative and innovative, always looking at new and interesting ways of driving value for our community
  • A master at getting buy-in from key leaders, internal and external, to drive digital marketing and CRM strategy
  • Hands-on team player with the ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels in a collaborative and integrated environment
  • Heart-led storyteller with a passion for delivering highly compelling and informative pieces of work across digital journeys
  • Strong connection to, or interest in building an understanding of the Australian disability sector and community
  • Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
  • Exhibit adaptability, resilience, patience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity
