Healthy Cities Australia (formerly Healthy Cities Illawarra) is seeking a skilled Office Administrator to support our growing team in Wollongong. With a 35+ year legacy in public health innovation and advocacy, we’re driving healthier, more equitable communities across Australia.

About the Role

As our Office Administrator, you’ll be the heart of the office—ensuring daily operations run smoothly while supporting the team with:

  • Front desk and reception duties
  • Scheduling, diary management, and meeting logistics
  • Event coordination and communications
  • Office supplies, systems, and supplier management
  • Onboarding support and database updates
  • Admin assistance across projects, presentations, and reporting

This is a hands-on, people-facing role requiring initiative, reliability, and a knack for getting things done.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience in administration
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Attention to detail and professionalism
  • Driver’s licence and (or willingness to obtain) First Aid & WWCC

Desirable:

  • Business Admin qualifications
  • Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), CMS, Canva, social media
  • Background in NFP or community health sector
