Hugging the banks of the Macintyre River 350-kilometres south-west of Brisbane on the New South Wales border lays the country town of Goondiwindi, renowned for its wheat, cotton, beef and wool.
Get your town bearings on the three-kilometre river walk lined in purple jacaranda trees, and take a dip in the 210-hectare National Heritage and Water Park - a purpose built channel popular with swimmers and boaties. Lay a picnic blanket in the barbecue area and tour the surrounding bushwalking and bird watching trails.
Shop along Marshall and Herbert Street's for homewares and country clothing and dine at the striking Victoria Hotel for lunch, with its black and white facade. Be sure to also venture to the native botanic gardens and lagoon lined in dragon boats, where the town hosts the annual gruelling triathlon event 'Hell of the West' at the start of each year.
There is an active local sports scene, and nearby Bendidee National Park and State Forest provides opportunities for bushwalking. The civic centre hosts a number of cultural events each year, along with the town museum and old Customs House.
The clinic consists of the principle physiotherapist; with 14 years' experience both overseas and in Australia and friendly, supportive reception staff. The practice attends to a large rural community throughout South West Queensland, bringing a diverse and varied caseload.
Experience in dry needling will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
No after-hours requirement
