This is a career opportunity not to be missed for professionals who want to join Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation and work in an award winning youth focused service that promotes a positive, personalised and strengths based approach to career development, job seeking and education.
headspace Work and Study is a world first service, delivering tailored work and study support to young people whose mental health is impacting their vocational goals. In the current COVID-19 landscape there’s never been a more important time to help young people reach their work and study goals. We are currently seeking an experienced service coordinator to support us with this work.
The service delivers intensive vocational assistance online to 15-25 year olds. Delivered entirely online, the service is integrated with clinical care to provide personal and tailored support using a strengths based and voluntary approach. The service was recognised for its impact as the recipient of the 2019 Vic Health Award for Improving Mental Wellbeing.
An exciting opportunity exists for an innovative and dynamic leader to join the existing Coordinator Team, as one of three Coordinators responsible for overall day-to-day management and operations of headspace Work and Study. You will have a proven track record in supporting young people with employment and education, managing and motivating a team of staff, and working collaboratively with industry and partners. Your strong organisational and service management skills will enable you to establish and monitor effective systems that ensure a quality service is provided and service reporting requirements are met.
In return we offer a dynamic environment where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference to young Australians. You will join an established team and successful service, and have the opportunity to work remotely. The salary range for this role is $80 000 - $90 000, dependent on skills and experience, and includes generous salary packaging opportunities.
