About the role

We're looking for a Senior Evaluation specialist to lead high-impact projects that inform how headspace services are delivered and improved across the country.

This role sits within our Evaluation and Monitoring (Impact) Team at headspace National Office, delivering complex and priority evaluation projects across headspace programs and services.

You'll work closely with program teams, service designers, and delivery partners across the national network, using routine service data (including headspace minimum data sets) and other methods to generate meaningful insights.

Your work will directly support continuous improvement, strategic decision-making, and national policy and sector influence.

What you'll bring

  • At least four years' experience delivering end‑to‑end evaluation projects, ideally within health, mental health, youth, or community settings.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in social or behavioural sciences, evaluation, health sciences or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience in evaluation.
  • Strong skills in program logic design, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Advanced qualitative and quantitative research and analytical skills.
