An exciting role exists for an energetic, clinically qualified mental health professional to support schools through the implementation of Be You. The Be You program provides online training and resources, backed by 70 expert staff on the ground, to support busy principals, teachers and early learning professionals to nurture the mental health and wellbeing of young people and their families. Be You consultants also support secondary schools to prepare for, respond to and recover from the impact of suicide.
You are experienced in the provision of youth mental health care, including risk assessment, and delivering clinical or advisory services to schools.
This role primarily supports teachers, leaders and schools rather than providing direct clinical services to young people.
A tertiary qualification in an approved allied health discipline and eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional body is essential.
This role requires intra-state and inter-state travel. In return, we offer a generous car allowance, NT locational allowance as well as a flexible and dynamic work environment where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference to young Australians.
The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000, with salary commensurate with skills and experience, plus generous salary packaging opportunities up to the maximum amount.
This role is being offered until 30 June 2021 in line with our current funding arrangement.
