HammondCare At Home is continuing to expand our services and we are seeking part-time Home Care Workers who speak Arabic, Lebanese, Italian, Vietnamese, Spanish and Greek, Mandarin, and Cantonese to provide support to our clients across the SouthWest Sydney Region.

Our teams cover clients from Bankstown, Liverpool, Hammondville, Fairfield, Cabramatta, Padstow, Campbelltown, Camden (Camden Team may at times go to Picton or Razorback) in the North.

Further South in the Southern Highlands, we also cover Picton, Mittagong, Thirmele, Bowral and Menangle.

What's involved in the role?

Community Aged Care Support Workers deliver a range of 'At Home Aged Care services and mostly work independently in client homes, but with direct support from their Care Manager. Duties include:

• Assisting with personal care - including bowel cleaning and pad changes
• Medication assistance
• Meal preparation
• Light housework - including vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, bad making
• Shopping and transport to medical appointments
• Social support and community engagement

About HammondCare

What do you need to apply?

• Fully vaccinated - two doses of Covid vaccinations + flu vaccination in last 12 months (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid provisional or above Drivers Licence
• A reliable car with minimum third-party insurance
• Availability to take on Perm, Part-Time hours across Monday to Sunday, and hours between 7am to 9pm.
• No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is an advantage
• Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others - personal experience is highly valued!
• Willingness to engage with our clients and have a genuine care for their quality of life
• Reliability and willingness to provide genuine care and supports to our clients
