Grand Pacific Health is a non-profit organisation providing free mental health services in Wagga Wagga with some outreach to other centres in the Eastern Murrumbidgee. These will include services for mild to moderate to chronic mental health concerns. It will also include inreach to Aged Care facilities and some child and family services.

The Regional Coordinator, Murrumbidgee will lead the entire regional team. You will be based in Wagga Wagga as well as travel to outreach centres and occasionally out of area for training and management purposes.

You will lead the service delivery of mental health services in the Murrumbidgee working collaboratively with other GPH teams and external stakeholders to deliver high quality services and achieve performance goals.

The essential qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience required to successfully fulfil the position are:

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health, health or a community/social services discipline
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health or human services leadership and management
3. Demonstrated understanding of the mental health sector and mental health programs and principles
4. Demonstrated ability to manage staff including guiding, motivating, mentoring and nurturing a positive, considerate and high performance culture
5. High level written communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
6. Strong organisational skills including the ability to utilise ICT solutions, prioritise work, manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines
7. Current unrestricted drivers licence and willingness to travel as part of the role.
