Role Purpose

The primary purpose is to oversee the credit assessment, loan disbursement, and administration processes for Microfinance (No Interest Loans, Interest Free Loans and Microenterprise Loans) applications across various service delivery channels. This role focuses on building a trauma-informed approach into client interactions, enhancing process efficiencies, managing loan portfolios, and strengthening relationships with loan capital providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen key relationships with loan capital providers by implementing an operating structure that encompasses capital management, risk mitigation, quality data and reporting and through developing a systemic approach to managing credit risk within the portfolio.
  • Pioneer new microfinance offerings by collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging data, analytics, market insights, and client feedback.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the team to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective processes across application assessment and loan administration.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in microfinance, credit assessment, loan administration, or related roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of microfinance principles, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve efficient and effective processes in credit assessment, loan administration, and portfolio management.
