A unique opportunity to support financial capability development for economic empowerment initiatives as part of Good Return’s Field Support Officer (FSO) Volunteer Program.
In this role you will:
- Gain valuable experience living and working in a multicultural environment as part of a professional team and making a difference
- Develop, design and maintain interactive learning apps, learning website components, reporting and monitoring tools, data service APIs, peer lending platform components
- Provide training and documentation of the solutions developed, including support in remote field locations
You will possess the following:
- A tertiary qualification in computer or software engineering or similar fields, or alternatively acquired the relevant skills in the workplace
- At least 2 years of Software Development and/or IT Specialist experience
- Fluent with HTML/CSS and other Web technologies
- Cross cultural sensitivity, adaptability, open mindedness, independence, and resilience
Good Return will provide international airfares at the commencement and conclusion of the assignment, medical costs, visa expenses, insurance and a monthly living allowance (including accommodation costs).
Eligibility:
You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency to apply for this position. Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
Additional information: The role will commence in early July 2020. Applicants must be available for a 4-day induction course in May 2020, prior to their placement, at Good Return’s Sydney office. Later commencement dates and/or periods of less than 12 months will not be considered.
