A unique opportunity to support financial capability development for economic empowerment initiatives as part of Good Return’s Field Service Officer (FSO) Volunteer Program.
In this role you will:
- Gain valuable experience living and working in a multicultural environment as part of a professional team and making a difference
- Promote Good Return program through developing creative and engaging content
- Conduct field interviews and develop case studies in collaboration with partner organisation to produce stories aligned with Good Return’s marketing fundraising strategy
You will possess:
- A degree in Communication, Marketing, Economics, International Development, Education or similar
- At least 1 year work experience (paid or unpaid) relevant to Good Return’s program areas, such as international development, media, publicity, communications, journalism, finance/banking, or adult education
- Ability to develop high quality digital content
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Cross cultural sensitivity, adaptability, open mindedness, independence, and resilience
Good Return will provide international airfares at the commencement and conclusion of the assignment, medical costs, visa expenses, insurance and a monthly living allowance (including accommodation costs).
Eligibility:
You must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency to apply for this position. Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
Additional Information: The role will commence in early July 2020. Applicants must be available for a 4-day induction course in May 2020, prior to their placement, at Good Return’s Sydney office. Later commencement dates and/or periods of less than 12 months will not be considered.
