About GetUp
The GetUp movement is powered by the values and ambition of over one million members for a fairer future. We have a long history of mobilising our movement to make an extraordinary impact. In the coming Victorian state election, GetUp will be running targeted field programs in seats around Sunbury and the Frankston / Cranbourne area. Our focus is curbing the rise of One Nation, and we're looking for people with deep roots in these communities and a genuine commitment to progressive politics.
About the Role

- Lead and train volunteers in direct voter contact tactics such as phonebanking and doorknocking;
- Rostering and shift management;
- Volunteer training and preparation;
- Coordinate with GetUp staff to ensure compliance needs are met;
- Maintain accurate volunteer data in GetUp's systems;
- Provide regular updates to the national team on recruitment;
- Manage materials and logistics locally.

You will be someone who:
- Has experience with electoral or community organising;
- Lives in or can easily access either the Sunbury area or the Frankston / Cranbourne area;
- Has a deep interest in progressive politics and a genuine desire to take on the far right;
- Builds trust and relationships easily – with volunteers, allied organisations and community members;
- Works autonomously, takes initiative and follows through;
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly;
- Is available to work some evenings and weekends, particularly closer to election day.
Bonus points for:
- Experience building and managing volunteer teams;

If a couple of these speak to you, apply. Drive and commitment matter more to us than formal qualifications.
