  • Full-time or Part-time (0.8) with flexible work options

The Federation of Community Legal Centres Victoria (the Federation) is a fast-paced and dynamic organisation that leads and supports excellence in the community legal sector, promotes the purpose and value of Community Legal Centres, and advances social justice and a fair legal system. It is the peak body for Victoria’s 46 Community Legal Centres (CLCs), who are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by legal challenges. The Federation’s vision is for a community that is fair, inclusive, and thriving, where every person belongs and can learn, grow, heal, participate and be heard.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Quality and Capacity Development Manager leads a combination of quality, risk, and sector development initiatives, to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of the community legal sector. The Quality and Capacity Development Manager will drive ongoing excellence through the delivery of the National Accreditation Scheme (NAS) in Victorian CLCs by leading accreditation audits and assessments and delivering guidance, advice and coaching to member organisations throughout the accreditation cycle.

In this role – which has significant impact - the Quality and Capacity Development Manager will ensure that the strategic identification and analysis of risks, issues and trends informs an effective Learning and Development Program that is delivered by the Federation to Victorian CLCs; enhancing sector capacity to develop and implement governance and management practices and improve service delivery outcomes to the community. This role is also responsible for leading the reporting of integrated service funding to the Victorian Government, liaising with funded CLCs, and ensuring effective contract management.

The Quality and Capacity Development Manager will lead a small Quality and Capacity Development Team, providing strategic guidance across programs, enabling collaboration and information sharing, and supporting the achievement of individual and team outcomes.
