Guide Dogs Australia assists people who are blind or have low vision to gain freedom and independence, become active and involved members of the community, and fulfil their potential. In collaboration with its state-based organisations, Guide Dogs Australia delivers essential services to children, teenagers, and the elderly who are blind or have low vision in every State and Territory across Australia.

The Guide Dogs Australia team is expanding and requires a National Corporate Partnerships Specialist with proven success in acquisition, aligning values and generating financial and in-kind support. 

Reporting to the National Commercial Partnerships Manager, this exciting opportunity will develop long-term alignment with corporate partners. You will acquire new corporate partners through prospect identification, cultivating and soliciting prospects, developing and presenting proposals, relationship building and driving engagement strategies to generate income. You will secure financial support from cause-related marketing campaigns, shared value, fundraising, gifts in kind and workplace giving. 

Your communication, leadership, negotiation and influencing skills are essential, along with your ability to successfully plan, research and build effective relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders. Delivering professional presentations, implementing meaningful recognition strategies and looking for opportunities to connect and integrate corporate partners into Guide Dogs Australia will be instrumental to securing philanthropic support, sponsorship and mutually beneficially partners. 

You will be a motivated, committed and outcomes-focussed fundraising specialist with 5+ years experience, and bring creative and insightful thinking, problem-solving ability, project management skills and an understanding of fundraising, philanthropy and sponsorship. Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or Commerce and CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) are beneficial.
