Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Director, Philanthropy will strategically lead and grow the planned giving program, building a multi-year pipeline of prospective and confirmed legacy donors to support long-term sustainability.

About YOU​

You are a relationship-driven leader who enjoys building long-term connections and engaging directly with alumni, donors and high-net-worth individuals on compelling stories of impact and giving opportunities.

• Significant experience in fundraising, philanthropy or relationship management
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence high-value stakeholders
• Confidence leading high value donor conversations and “the ask"
• Strong communication skills, including proposal development and storytelling
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations
• Understanding of planned giving, philanthropy and/or estate processes
• Experience building relationships with professional advisers (legal, estate planning or philanthropic networks)
• The judgement and professionalism to work with discretion in confidential donor matters
