- Program Coordination & Organisation: Demonstrated experience coordinating programs, administration or operations in a busy environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate schedules and logistics, and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Volunteer & Stakeholder Relationships: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with volunteers, community members, colleagues and external stakeholders. Experience in community development, supporting volunteers or coordinating volunteer activities will be highly regarded.
- Communication & Digital Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing newsletters, promotional materials, social media content and general correspondence. Confidence using Microsoft Office 365, Canva, Google Workspace and other digital systems, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Initiative, Judgement & Professional Practice: Demonstrated ability to work independently, use sound judgement and take initiative within delegated authority while recognising when issues should be escalated. A commitment to confidentiality, professional boundaries and delivering welcoming, inclusive and person-centred services.
- Operations, Safety & Community Sector Experience: An understanding of workplace health and safety, risk management and safe operational practices in a community setting. Experience working in a neighbourhood house, community organisation or not-for-profit environment, and coordinating community events or activities, will be highly regarded.
