Great Barrier Reef Legacy is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to protecting coral reefs for future generations. Through our flagship Forever Reef Project, we are preserving coral biodiversity at unprecedented scale—housing over 40% of the Great Barrier Reef’s coral species at our state-of-the-art facility in Port Douglas.

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to help strengthen the foundations of our growing organisation.

You’ll join a small but mighty team of highly skilled, passionate people and play a central role in shaping how the organisation operates.

This is a hands-on role that brings business acumen, systems thinking and practical delivery to support good governance, effective operations and sustainable growth.

Working closely with the CEO and team, you’ll help ensure the organisation operates efficiently, ethically and in line with its values — enabling great conservation work to thrive.

• Salary: Salary is pro-rata based on 0.7 FTE, with an indicative full-time equivalent package of around $110,000, and will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience.
