Gateway Community Group Inc. provides supported accommodation to families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. These families are often experiencing multi-faceted health and wellbeing challenges, contributing to the difficulties of accessing and maintaining housing. Gateway Community Group Inc.is a Specialist Homelessness Service, funded by the Department of Housing, QLD Government. We are seeking an experienced Client Housing Worker or Family Support Worker (Housing) in a part time, temporary role of 3 days per week 7.5-hour days. The commencement date is mid-January until 16 July 2021. Days of work are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There is the potential for future casual and locum work.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in the small community-based organisation Gateway Community Group Inc. with the focus on improving outcomes for the most vulnerable members of the community.
