The Gap Youth and Community Centre is a grassroots organisation established in 1977 by the local Aboriginal community. We exist to provide a safe and supportive environment for young Indigenous people and their families.
Our goal is to empower them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. We work towards a better world by delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate services that address the unique needs of our community.
The Case Worker role exists to support homeless young people or those at risk of homelessness in reconnecting with family, education, and employment. This role involves working closely with clients, families, and organisations to drive positive change and improve outcomes for young people. By providing case management services, you'll have a direct impact on the lives of our clients, helping them to find stable accommodation, re-engage with education, and access specialised support services.
We're looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in youth work or a related field. You should have relevant qualifications, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. We're passionate about working with individuals who share our values and are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people.
If you're passionate about creating positive change and have a strengths-based approach, we'd love to hear from you.
