This position falls into part 3. of our mission to ‘partner to end modern slavery’ by assisting companies with their ethical business practices. Our Ethical Business Services team is growing because more companies are looking for support and training to be more transparent and fairer in their business practices. Until now we have grown organically due to our experience in this field, but 2024 is the time for more businesses to know what we have to offer. We have a marketing strategy ready to go, but we need someone to create opportunities, engage with warm leads, and promote our services.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Part-Time role of 4 days a week (32 hours: Mon – Thurs) to start with. This could develop to a full-time role if successful, as demand for our services grow.

The hours are Flexible but with a minimum of 2 days a week in HQ Waterloo.

The base salary starts at $70,000 plus super, plus salary packaging of up to $15,900.

($83,125pa pro rata plus super, plus salary packaging)

About The Role:

  • Proactively deliver a strategic engagement and service delivery strategy to business and government that attracts new customers, new stakeholders, new enquiries, and potential donations/grant support opportunities.
  • Sales account administration - including but not limited to, corporate client communication, quoting, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Participating in Ethical Business Training workshops, Lunch and Learns, Public Speaking and Pitching.
  • Meet KPIs, Achieve Sales Goals, and Targets - proactive + strategic approach to understanding customer needs; pain points and effectively communicating the value propositions of working with The Freedom Hub Ethical Business Services.
  • Tracking and analysing performance metrics, providing regular reports to management, and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and grow strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including participating in conference presentations, media interviews, and other stakeholder events.
  • Attend Monday key team meetings and help lead "Convergence" our monthly 'all in' volunteer and staff training on the 2nd Thursday night of every month.

Requirements for this Role:

  • A passion for social impact and human rights in business.
  • A minimum of 4 years of Business Management, Corporate Sales experience or equivalent roles to demonstrate experience and confidence in the corporate business world.
  • A strong commercial understanding and desire to seek new commercial opportunities.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills by articulating clearly with both internal teams and external business stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex concepts and technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sales-driven and highly motivated in exceeding targets.
  • Ability to pitch, speak, and network to create new market opportunities.
  • Quick to grasp new concepts, new platforms, and new business models; adept at navigating systems effortlessly, and possess the confidence to independently learn.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of selling processes, leads, funnels, and closing large accounts.
  • A working knowledge of Salesforce, Google and Microsoft.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Experience working in an evolving, growing and dynamic team.
  • Demonstrate self-management and proactive initiative.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and jump in wherever needed.

Knowledge about human rights in business and modern slavery will be highly favoured but not essential as training will be provided.
