Remote / Work from Home
WEstjustice is a leading community legal centre providing free services to vulnerable and disadvantaged people. From our offices in Footscray, Werribee and Sunshine and through our outreach services we provide advice, representation and education on a broad range of issues including employment, discrimination, consumer disputes, tenancy, credit and debt, family disputes, family violence, criminal law, infringements, children’s law and more.
WEstjustice believe in a just and fair society where the law and its processes do not discriminate against vulnerable people. We provide free legal education, undertake law reform activities and work in partnership with their local communities to deliver projects that improve access to justice.
Our purpose is to service the legal needs in the West in a way that addresses the systemic nature of disadvantage.
This is an exciting chance to join WEstjustice in this newly created role. As part of our new Digital Management Strategy review and process we are seeking to employ a Change Manager on a fixed term 12 month contract at 0.2-0.4EFT with the possibility to increase/extend depending on need.
This is a great opportunity for a self-driven person looking for a part time flexible role to help effectively support change management activities, which in turn will help WEstjustice improve service delivery models and advocate for real and effective change for its clients and community. We are therefore looking for a person who is ready to help WEstjustice reform, change and build staff capacity to adopt technology changes.
The successful applicant may be asked to attend our different office locations (Footscray, Werribee and/or Sunshine – outside of COVID-19 restrictions) to support the delivery of training programs to staff.
You will have experience with change management principles, methodologies and tools and have a working knowledge of community legal centre practices. You will have exceptional communications skills and be able to advocate for and influence others to move towards a common vision.
A copy of the position description is available below.
Salary is dependent on experience. Generous salary packaging is also available (including access to Accommodation and Meal Entertainment packaging).

WEstjustice is committed to building a diverse workforce. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people living with a disability, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, mature age workers and LGBTIQ-identifying people.
