This is a Senior/Step-Up leadership role, not an entry-level position. To be considered for this role, you must possess:

1. Prior SIL Experience: Proven experience working as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or Assistant House Manager specifically within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or group home environment.
2. Complex Behaviour Expertise: Demonstrated, hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours, including the practical implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.

We are seeking a values-driven, experienced Assistant House Manager to join our warm, person-centered home in Roseville. You will assist in leading a dedicated team providing high-quality care to three dynamic young women who have unique behavioral and complex support needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Roster Management: Assist in leading, onboarding, and mentoring a team of support workers. Manage weekly staff rosters.
• Direct Support: Work actively on the weekly roster to provide high-quality direct support (including personal care, mealtime assistance, medication administration, and behavioral support).
• On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call roster, providing after-hours, weekend, and overnight support when needed.
• Compliance & Operations: Ensure high standards of compliance with NDIS legislation, medication guidelines, vehicle checks, and safety audits.
• Family Collaboration: Build strong, trusting relationships with housemates and families, championing our Family Governance approach.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience & Attributes:

• Mandatory: Proven experience in a leadership or senior capacity (Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, etc.) within a SIL environment.
• Mandatory: Strong, demonstrated capability in managing complex behaviors and executing PBS plans.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to liaise compassionately with families.
• Strong organisational skills with proficiency in Google Drive and CRM platforms.

Compliance & Logistics:

• Flexibility to work a varied roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid Working with Children Check / Relevant State Child Protection Clearance.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Full NSW Driver’s Licence (or P2) and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Valid right to work in Australia.
