This is an exciting opportunity to join Fighting Chance and our growing Accommodation team. Reporting to the GM Manager - Accommodation, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for a broad range of HR generalist functions including recruitment, employment contracts, compliance checks, payroll set-up and other related HR administrative duties.

The HR Coordinator will:

• Be the first point of contact for Managers and Employees for HR-related queries.
• Administer employment contracts and maintain all associated documentation within the employee lifecycle and employee files.
• Track and monitor completion of HR activities, including induction, probationary periods, annual reviews, and employee lifecycle changes.
• Recruitment, including writing advertisements and the posting, shortlisting and initial phone screen of candidates.
• Assist in the development of position descriptions.
• Assist with Workers Compensation administration and management of claims.
• Assist in maintaining data integrity in our payroll (KeyPay) and LMS (Litmos) systems.
• Support Finance to run the payroll function and set-up of employees in our payroll system (KeyPay). An understanding of the SCHADS Award is desirable.
