Disability Services Australia (DSA) is a social enterprise supporting 3000 people with disabilities to develop the skills and capabilities they need to gain independence and participate in society while enabling opportunities for choice, inclusion, and achievement at home, in the community, through education and in employment. DSA employs more than 1,700 people, including a supported workforce of 500, across Metropolitan Sydney, the Hunter, Illawarra, Central West, Southern Highlands, and Southern Ranges of NSW.
Reporting to the EGM, Community and Home Living, the Divisional Director Youth Community (16-24) Lake Macquarie region will take a lead in developing a clear strategy for younger Australians living with a disability and will be responsible for DSA’s services in the Lake Macquarie region.
This role provides a wonderful opportunity for a contemporary and experienced people-focused leader to develop and deliver best-practice, participant-centred Supported Independent Living (SIL) services that reflect DSA’s vision, values, and strategy. Growing this segment is a key pillar of DSA’s 5-year strategy, and as a senior leader you will balance growth, innovation and commerciality of all programs linked to the Youth CHL market.

The role will be based at either DSA’s Kingsgrove office or in the Lake Macquarie region. Regular travel to and from these locations will be required given the role’s regional responsibility.
